Out of Step Ltd are one of the U.K’s leading distributors of American Street, Skate & Menswear apparel & footwear, responsible for the full service programme of Marketing, Sales and Logistics for brands such as Huf, The Hundreds, Brixton & Hex.

We have an exciting role within our growing company that is set for further expansion over the next few years. We are currently recruiting for a talented P.A to Directors to include Office Management Duties, to be located at our warehouse in Bristol. This position is best suited to someone with experience and the ability to communicate information in a factual, polite and approachable manner.

Attention to detail and the ability to take an organised approach to tasks, prioritising in order to help arrive at solutions for challenging situations will be paramount. Your tasks will be varied and ever changing so the ability to adapt at short notice will be a working condition you thrive on. You will need to expect the unexpected.

Someone who can actively contribute to developing ease of communication to ensure the smooth running of the business, you will require a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel as well as the ability to learn developing computerised systems and technology.   

Who are we looking for:

  • Someone with former or current experience of supporting senior management roles with the ability to identify, ahead of time areas requiring support.
  • The ability to sustain a proactive, positive and professional approach in an office environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to see the bigger picture, maintaining understanding and discretion of confidential matters.
  • Down to earth with a poor taste in music is preferred not requisite as we can teach you all that, but seriously a sense of humour helps.
  • Must like dogs, all dogs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Director’s diary through communication with the Sales team in order to maximise efficiency of meetings.
  • Ad hoc Directors requests, there will be many.
  • Preparation of reports and presentations for Sale meetings.
  • Assit Credit Control in outbound Customer communication
  • Assist Accounts in Invoice reconciliation, authorisation and filling.
  • Assist Marketing in postal and digital campaigns.
  • Management of office activities and employee welfare.
