The Company:

An excellent opportunity for a Costings Coordinator to join a fast growing, successful, cosmetics company who supply both private label and branded products to highly successful leading retailers worldwide. The role will entail working as part of a busy team, liaising with internal departments providing up to date product, materials information and costings to ensure that profits are achieved.  Ideally you will have an analytical mind, be very organised and able to work to deadlines. Excellent prospects for bright, hardworking and career minded candidates working for a highly respected and dynamic company
 
The Role:

  • Providing analytical and key decision-making support to upper management and internal teams.
  • Managing and maintaining databases for the purpose of cost analysis, calculation and budgeting.
  • Responsible for all costings based on the quotes received from the Senior Management team
  • Monitoring the critical path.
  • Following up product briefs as received from customers and liaising with the Far East offices.
  • Liaising daily with Far East offices and factories regarding cost prices and specifications.
  • Processing all purchase orders.
  • Monitoring the market to ensure the prices offered are competitive.
  • Keeping all product and stock details up to date.
  • Dealing with external customer queries.
  • Working closely with all areas of the business such as QC, merchandising, design, product development and supply chain to ensure product are delivered on time and budget.

 
Skills Required:

  • Very effective communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn.
  • Previous experience in similar role is essential ideally liaising with Far East factories.
  • Deadline focused.
