Working closely with the Sales and Production teams, the Customer Service Assistant ensures the flow of goods into and out of the business is efficient.  The role focuses on processing orders and returns, ensuring best practice for importing faulty goods and exporting stock swaps according to specific requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for management and daily correspondence of assigned accounts
  • Review and process order confirmations
  • Monitor reorder, exchange and RTV’s throughout selling season
  • Communicate with wholesalers regarding any stock swaps
  • Liaising with our wholesale customers to arrange collection of faulty items
  • Document all returns and stock swaps and update as required
  • Communicate with production teams to ensure repairs are actioned swiftly
  • Return repaired goods to stores raising required shipping documentation
  • Liaise with couriers to clear customs on returned goods
  • Create credit notes where required on Zedonk
  • Update stock holding data to ensure accurate information is recorded on Zedonk
  • Attend to general vendor issues effectively
  • Support the Sales Managers in the Development of relationships with vendors’ representatives
  • Create faulty stock receipts analysis report resulting in weekly vendor RA approval
  • Handling sample requests form retailers
  • Chasing payments if needed

The Ideal Candidate

  • 2 years plus experience in customer service within the fashion industry
  • Strong communication, networking and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of shipping paperwork and international customs requirements, documentation, tax and duties
  • Energetic and proactive
  • Excellent organisation and team working skills
  • Ability to work and part of a team
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Knowledge of Zedonk and Joor preferred, but not essential
