The Company:

An E-commerce Sales Support Manager is needed to join an established family run homeware business with an admirable reputation in the industry whose stunning products are stocked in a number of e-commerce and bricks and mortar retailers.  You will support the Business Manager in all administrative tasks, ensuring all tools available for e-commerce sales are maintained/used and contribute to the company sales.
 
The Role:

  • Account management for all major e-commerce, accounts etc.
  • Management of vendor platform or partner website requirements.
  • Responsibility for product listings including the removal of discontinued lines, listing new lines, updating current listings, updating images and specs, price checks and promotions of end-of-line goods.
  • Monitoring customer administration including account performance, ensuring orders are despatched on time and customers are informed of failed collections, monitoring orders are processed on time, assisting with queries, ensuring invoices are paid and handling queries and ensuring  special pricing is updated on orderwise for sale periods or continuous pricing.
  • Organisation of promotional periods including bank holidays, key national sales periods, selecting clearance lines to promote, ensuring product details are submitted timely, offering promotional prices and updating orderwise system with promotional prices.
  • Product analysis/category analysis for e-commerce sales including generating reports and analysing sales to enable the company to increase sales through better stock management, product procurement and information flow.
  • Supporting smaller e-commerce customers with product listings.
  • Providing support to the Sales Manager in administrative tasks, ensuring all tools available for the company sales are maintained and used and contribute to sales in the business.
  • Generating monthly sales reports per sector of business.
  • Generating a monthly product sales report and advising on necessary stock increases or decrease.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties such as monitor weekly or monthly sales figures and products sales.

 
Skills Required:

  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years administration experience.
  • Confident with the proven ability to able to work on own initiative.
  • Experience of Orderwise, WASP and retailers extranets is highly desirable.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with account management experience.
