EXPERIENCED GARMENT TECHNOLOGIST / HIGH STREET FASHION ACCESORIES.  Are you an EXPERIENCED FASHION GARMENT TECHNOLOGIST,  with a passion for the fashion industry and would like to work for one of the UK'S LARGEST SUPPLIERS  OF FASHION ACCESSORIES?

Our client is looking for a vibrant, professional and experienced candidate to join their busy team of Garment Technologists based in Manchester, they are a long established  supply the latest high street fashion accessories to clients such as NEXT, OASIS, TOP SHOP, DEBENHAMS and many more. The ideal candidate will already be working for a supplier as a Technologist and looking for their next role and career move.

Your will be responsible for:

  • suggesting changes to clothing pattern designs
  • sourcing fabrics 
  • making sure garments can be produced within budget
  • overseeing fabric testing and fittings of first samples
  • making sure that the correct garment construction methods are used
  • responding to product queries
  • analysing product returns and faults
  • producing quality control reports
  • You'll work closely with designers, pattern cutters, graders and buyers.
  • Day to day garment technology for soft accessories, fitting and approving styles
  • following critical paths and liaising  with suppliers daily
  • developing the specs and grading
  • Fit sessions
  • Research and data analysis on supplier test results
