To provide a confidential HR admin support to store, warehouse and Head Office employees and managers on issues including, disciplinary, absence management, health & safety, recruitments and holiday.

Role Specific

  • Assisting and facilitating the day to day running of the HR team
  • Ensure new starters, amendments and leaver are processed on WFM
  • Be the point of contact for all new starters
  • Sends out references to companies for new employees
  • Arranging meetings and facilities required
  • Managing general telephone enquiries
  • Regularly updating the WFM system ensuring efficient and accurate data entry
  • Assisting the Senior HR Advisor and HR Manager with any HR queries or administration including creating contracts, offers and amendment letters and any other ad hoc documentation
  • Supporting in note taking for formal meetings when required
  • Building relationships and working collaboratively with all teams and departments within the business to ensure we provide the best support to deliver business goals
  • Updating team trackers
  • Maintaining an effective online filing system

  • Must have, or be working towards a recognised HR qualification
  • Literate and Articulate
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Good telephone manner

  • Must be highly motivated and very organised

  • Friendly and approachable manner
  • Hands-on approach and ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience of working in cross functional teams
  • Basic understanding of power point and Microsoft Project
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Competent communicator both orally and written
