The Company:

A successful clothing and footwear company are looking for a Junior Merchandise Administrator to compliment their growing merchandising team and carry out day to day stock management and order fulfilment. It is a great role for anyone who wants to learn with the possibility to progress. The Role:

  • Ensuring stock discrepancies are checked accurately.
  • Carrying out daily stock management to maximise sales.
  • Resolving stock enquiries efficiently.
  • Setting up new season product and discontinued flags accurately at the start and end of seasons.
  • Liaising with Merchandisers to determine need for air freight.
  • Collaborating with imports department to prioritise shipments.
  • Communicating rate changes to sales.
  • Maintaining planning calendar.
  • Providing administrative back up to the merchandising team.

 
Skills Required:

  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Highly numerate.
  • Logical and analytical and able to use own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Able to build great relationships and work with people at all levels of the business.
  • Good with systems.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Must be forward thinking with the ability to plan.
  • Focussed on providing solutions with first class customer service in mind.
  • Able to work on multiple tasks with tight and often conflicting deadlines.
  • Responsive to change and driven to re-evaluate and reinvent.
