The Company:
An exciting opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join a leading fashion importer and exporter with over 50 years experience supplying ladies and menswear to wholesalers, retailers, garden centres and e-tailers across the UK and Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity for to join a growing team.
 
The Role:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing orders and deliveries.
  • Communication and organisation of deliveries with warehouse staff and with carrier companies.
  • Use of Sage line 50 system to raise invoices.
  • Checking incoming stock and log onto the system.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process once an order has been received.
  • Ensure consistent customer service.
  • Liaising with customers, sales, shipping and merchandising team.
  • Liaising with warehouse to track despatches.
  • Processing orders in an efficient and time effective manner.
  • Setting up job files and managing the approval process.
  • Communicating with customers.
  • Managing orders on a day to day basis in line with the work in progress reports.
  • Customer liaison including ensuring all information has been received from the customer to be able to process the orders, arrange deliveries and keeping them informed of any issues.
  • Inter-department liaison including liaising with all departments involved in the order process.
  • Updating reports including work in progress amends, delivery date amendments, sales pipeline, EDI, and customer intranet.

 
Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to be a proactive, solutions driven individual who is able to manage own workload and time in order to get the job done.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels.
  • PC literate with strong skills in Outlook, Word and Excel software.
