About: A well funded and exciting fashion eCommerce startup to be based in Manchester, looking to grow the Digital Team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Social Media Executive to join an exciting clothing brand based in Manchester. Reporting to the Senior Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for creating original and engaging content to be delivered strategically across multiple social platforms and channels. In addition, you will also be expected to access various analytics to deliver regular reporting of KPIs. You will also need to have an understanding of how to develop brand visibility and manage online reputation, within a fashion context.

Key responsibilities:

  • Generating engaging content and ideas for each website/project for both on-page (ie blog posts) and social platforms (written and graphical content)
  • Manage social accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat for the brand.
  • Monitoring and increasing traffic, user engagement and conversion rates across the social platforms to ultimately generating leads and driving sales.
  • Working closely with the digital team to ensure content is scheduled and promoted effectively.
  • Regular reporting of KPIs, noting strengths/weaknesses and areas of focus and improvement.
  • Outreach to influencers to extend brand awareness and online reach.
Skills required

Essential:
  • ​​1-2 years experience of handling social media in a fashion related field.
  • Experience in planning, executing and managing social media campaigns effectively within a fashion context.
  • The ability to work well on your own and as part of a digital marketing team.
  • Experience with social scheduling, management and monitoring tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, SproutSocial, Bit.ly, CrowdBooster.
  • Being creative with content, consistently pushing creative boundaries.
  • Understanding of SEO practices when writing content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • ​The ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • ​Ability to form positive working relationships with brand ambassadors and influencers.
  • Graphic design experience using editing software such as Photoshop.
  • Experience of Google Analytics and other other similar analytical platforms.
