Truly Global Retail is a programme that will transform the way Retail plan and trade. For our global customers, it will mean a more local offer, at prices relevant in their market. For our Retail teams we will be providing them with the tools to help them work in a more efficient way, giving them greater visibility of the information they really need, whilst ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do. Working within the Training Team, you will be responsible for the scheduling and management of the Training Programme.

We have several pieces of Training requiring scheduling and coordination ranging from some scene setting engagement type sessions to Systems Training with some Interim Tools along the way. With approximately 600 users to train over an 8 week window across various functions including Buying & Merchandising, Finance and Supply Chain, and up to 10 classes running simultaneously, you will be pivotal in ensuring the business teams are aware of Training activities coming their way, in the right time, to support them to be ready, willing and able to adopt new ways of working. You will need to work in a team to ensure an aligned approach to the coordination of the schedule.
 
What you'll be doing... 

  • Create and manage training and engagement session schedules
  • Work with L&D department to ensure most up to date people information
  • Regular communications with Training Managers, Developers & Trainers
  • Communications to training attendees working alongside Change & Comms Coordinator
  • Liaise with Developers to maintain the housing and distribution of Training assets on to internal intranet tools
  • Management of the course printing and distribution of materials
  • Liaise with training developers to ensure all required materials are prepared, printed or purchased for new training course

Training coordination including:

  • Update Trainers on delegate attendees list
  • Send out calendar invites and course reminders
  • Escalate any key risks or issues that could affect training initiatives
  • Report of any no shows and re-invite users onto new training sessions if they do not turn up for training
  • Reschedule any delegates who are unable to attend chosen courses
  • Chase delegates who have not registered for training
  • Gather feedback
  • Prepare reports about training participation.

Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a project training team with large numbers of training events and locations
  • Exceptional organisation skills including; strong training and/or project co-ordination/administration experience and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks at once and prioritise tasks/deliverables

                                                         
Skills

  • Excellent data inputting skills and keen attention to detail
  • Administration experience is essential
  • Computer literate with strong skills levels in Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • Highly proficient in Excel including vlook ups and pivot tables
  • Aptitude for numbers, data, absorbing lots of information, willing to learn quickly and take on responsibility
  • Ability to prioritise workload and collaborate with multiple stakeholders at once
  • Professionalism and a positive approach to work
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
