About: We are a Fashion handbag company. We are the design/sales office with our parent company being in China. The production and sampling is done in China and the Far East in our factories. We work closely with our Chinese colleagues. We supply ladies, mens and kids fashion bags. We also design licence product and make-up bags. We are a major supplier to global High Street retailers. Our design office has been established in London since 2011. We don't have a website or social media accounts as we do not sell under our own label.

Texmodel, a major supplier of fashion bags to global high-street retailers, is looking for a Design Assistant to support our thriving design team in Clerkenwell, London.  This is a great opportunity for the right person to grow within the company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Product research and trend boards.
  • Identifying key trends.
  • Assisting with CADs.
  • Creating tech packs and arranging sampling.
  • General office duties, supporting the design team.

Requirements:

  • A strong design graduate with a passion for fashion and a keen eye for emerging trends
  • Excellent drawing skills, both freehand and CAD
  • Highly proficient with Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Excel when working at a fast pace and under pressure
  • Good communication skills and happy to multitask.
  • Willing to travel abroad when necessary.
